Congratulations to Jessica Roydhouse, PhD, who was selected as the new Co-Editor-in-Chief of the ISOQOL-affiliated journal Quality of Life Research (QLR).
Dr. Roydhouse is a Select Foundation Senior Research Fellow in Health Services Research at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research, the Director of the Tasmanian Cancer Registry and the Academic Lead for the Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry – Tasmania. Her research focuses on patient-reported outcomes, proxy reporting, cancer clinical trials and treatment tolerability.
Dr. Roydhouse has served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Patient-Reported Outcomes and is the Chair-Elect of the ISOQOL Australia and New Zealand Special Interest Group. She is a member of the GP5 Working Group of the US National Cancer Institute Cancer Treatment Tolerability Consortium. Dr. Roydhouse is the recipient of the ISOQOL Donna Lamping Emerging Leader Award (2021) and the ISPOR Bernie O’Brien New Investigator Award (2023).
Dr. Roydhouse will officially begin her term in October 2024. We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Jan Boehnke for his service as the Co-Editor-in-Chief and his support of Dr. Roydhouse as she assumes editorial duties alongside Co-Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Brittany Lapin.
