Milwaukee Art Museum (25-minute walk)
The Milwaukee Art Museum is the largest art museum in Wisconsin and home to a collection of more than 30,000 works. The building was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, and its unique wings open with the museum, flap at noon, and close at night, weather permitting. It’s an easy 1 mile / 1.6 km walk from the conference hotel, and there is a great lake path behind the museum for walking or biking.
Milwaukee RiverWalk (5-minute walk)
The conference hotel is located near the Milwaukee River and its 3-mile long RiverWalk. Connecting downtown neighborhoods, the RiverWalk boasts public art and access to some of the city’s best restaurants, brewpubs, shops and waterfront nightlife. While you’re there, take a selfie with the Bronze Fonz, a statue of Fonzie from the sitcom Happy Days. You can also explore the RiverWalk via a boat tour or kayaking!
Milwaukee Public Market (17-minute walk)
An iconic food and event destination, the Milwaukee Public Market is home to 19 independently owned merchants and offers a diverse array of options.
