Submissions are now open for webinars, virtual symposia, and virtual roundtables. Webinars, virtual symposia and virtual roundtables are hosted on ISOQOL’s e-learning platform, which is open to anyone with an interest in the theory, methods, standards and best practices, or application of health related quality of life research.
Proposals for the three event programs are due 28 February 2025.
Webinar Proposals
An ISOQOL webinar is a 60-90 minute live event featuring a collection of presentations and live engagement between speaker(s) and the audience. The live event is recorded and later available for on-demand viewing.
ISOQOL webinars cover both core concepts behind HRQL research and emerging trends in the field. This medium is best suited for information of interest to a small demographic or for hot topics likely to become outdated within a couple of years.
Virtual Symposium Topic Proposals
An ISOQOL virtual symposium is a 1-3 day live event comprised of multiple sessions relating to an overarching theme. The sessions include panel discussions, pre-recorded presentations, and live engagement between speakers and the audience.
Virtual symposia focus on specific/niche topics of importance to our members and the HRQL field. This medium is recommended for especially timely topics of interest to a wide demographic with varied experience related to the symposium theme.
Virtual Roundtable Proposals
Virtual roundtables are live events composed of a small group discussion, led by a host, where everyone present has an equal opportunity to share their opinions and perspectives on a topic. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with questions and ideas relating to a specific topic to network and discuss.
The live event is capped at 10 attendees and is a maximum of 90-minutes in length. The discussion is recorded and later available for on-demand viewing.
