Local Workshop: Patient-centered care and research: All you need to know to start with PROs and PROMs

Sunday, 13 October | 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Please note: This workshop will be presented in German.

Participants will leave with a broad basic overview of PROs and PROMs. Applying this knowledge through a case study in the workshop will allow them to gain initial experience and practical skills that will sharpen their understanding of how to design PRO assessments and how to plan the integration of PROMs in their individual work environment.

Here’s what you can learn:

  • Becoming aware of the significance of collecting PROs in both research and clinical settings, contextualizing their role within evolving healthcare systems.
  • Familiarization with key initiatives shaping the landscape of PROs in healthcare, understanding their implications and contributions to advancing patient-centered care practices.
  • Gain foundational knowledge on how to develop a patient-centered measurement framework tailored to specific projects, encompassing the selection of PROs and PROMs.
  • Being able to critically review and appraise PRO reports and PROMs
  • Applying the content learnt to an individual small case study
