Dear ISOQOL Member:

The ISOQOL Board of Directors voted recently to increase the term of office of the President to two years, beginning with the election that will take place next year (incoming President-elect for 2011, President for 2012 and 2013, Immediate Past President for 2014). The board voted for this change in the belief that a two-year term would provide the President with a greater opportunity to develop and implement new initiatives and the Society with a greater degree of continuity in leadership.

This will require a change to the Society's bylaws, which must be voted on by the membership. The bylaws require that the membership is apprised of an upcoming vote to change the bylaws at least 30 days before the vote. You will receive your electronic ballot recommending the change 30 days following this email. If you have any questions or comments, please contact info@isoqol.org.

Click here Articles 7 and 8, with the proposed changes noted.

Best regards,

ISOQOL Executive Office
