16th Annual ISOQOL Conference Integrating HRQOL in Health Care Policy, Research, and Practice
October 28-31, 2009, New Orleans, Louisiana
About ISOQOL
The International Society for Quality of Life Research (ISOQOL) is an organization
dedicated to the improvement and dissemination of research and instrumentation
for measuring health status and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) outcomes
in population-based studies, randomized clinical trials, and other types of
evaluative and discriminative studies. ISOQOL is an international society,
with participants from North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
The activities of ISOQOL are focused on the science, measurement and interpretation
of HRQOL, as well as other types of patient reported outcomes (PROs). We accomplish
our goals though international scientific meetings, mentoring young investigators,
disseminating innovative methods and research through our journal, Quality
of Life Research.
